Yesterday I had a tiring day in SDC, Singapore Discovery Center. It's really boring, especially when there's a guide who has to lead over 70++ students around the center. Can't they just let us have free-and-easy? Didn't we have that during sec 1 or even in primary schools? The Center looked extremely foreign to me, right now, that is. And that shows how long i've never been there. 2 long years. OMG! I'm old~.
In the morning, as usual, i was chit-chatting with Farhana about w-inds. [ Ok, Im sorry! I just happened to listen to one of their songs and fell in love with it!=) ] Then there came one old bus, which seemed as if it had just delievered a group of victims who survived from a typhoon to hospital. Then the driver asked me:" Is this Punggol?" I nodded my head a few times and he started speaking in dialect, so i asked eric for help. [I sux at dialect] Driver told him:"Punggol and Pei Dao the same meh?" Hearing this, Farhana and i giggled away.
For those who might still not get this joke, Pei Dao is the chinese name for Punggol. Thus it seemed that either uncle had not been updating or we are just so unpopular that even an uncle would misinterpret both names as different schools. He might have came to our school because we're the only secndary school in the area.
In the beginning of the trip, we were brought up to coaches where it then brought us around SATFI. Being one of the enthusiastic female member of uniform groups, I was snapping pictures of everything that came into sight. Even my son did that~. (Liang boy) After that we had a 15-min break. While looking at Eric gulpping away his meal, i noticed the group of boys next table looking at eric. They were wondering how would eric finish his meal [Pork Chop, french fries, salad, shared lemon tea] within 5mins. It seemed like they haven't seen eric completing his meal less than 5mins, yet. Lol.
I dun feel like typing further details of the trip coz it sux. Here's some pictures taken before
